Welcome Back To “BookAkery"
Hello, how is everyone doing and hello to the new readers? First let me start off by introducing myself. I am LKG, the creator and writer of “BookAkery.” My blog name is the combination of two words book and bakery. I like creating and learning new things.  My most common book genres I read are:


  • Contemporary
  • Romance, Mystery,
  • Thriller, 
  • Fantasy, 
  • Young Adult
  • Nonfiction, 
  • Paranormal
  • Fiction
  • Graphic Novels


Note: If the book concept is too dark for me to read I won't read. I would read Sci-Fi or Dystopian, but it all depends on how I feel a like reading these genres book at the moment.

What has been going on?


I would like to say I know I have not been blogging and posting in a long time. I kinda took a break from my blog and my Facebook page. In fact, I even took a break from reading and I'm not even doing a Goodreads goal.

What’s New?

Since, I've been getting back into the flow of reading. My most recent book I have read is “You Have Reached Sam” by Dustin Thao. I really like this book; however, I'm trying to figure out what to read next. Second, I would like to say that I have been doing okay. 


What’s currently happening with my blog?


Since this is my comeback; I will be posting one more post in the month of December. Based on my posting schedule and my personal schedule I would be posting new blog post on Saturday, I want to try to write  one or two blog post in each month, but we see how that goes.

I have been on my summer break from work and soon I will be going back to work in August. W hat I been drinking? I had went to Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. I like Peet's Coffee & Tea, but normally I go to Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts.   For the time first I tried S'more Frappuccino from Starbucks; Cookies and Cream Iced Coffee,  Pistachio Almond Fudge Iced Coffee and Frozen Hot Chocolate from Dunkin Donuts. Photo Credit: LKG H ello, readers. I hope you all had a wonderful summer with family and friends. Over the summer I greatly enjoyed completed reading some of my books on my tbr pile. I have even read books by new authors. I also, watched some new Asian Drama's, movies and Korean reality TV shows like, "Pink Lie;" In addition; I watched Shadow and Bones Season 2, Heartstopper Season 2, and Surviving Summer, etc..  Even, though I been busy with work, I still manage to have good a summer.😊   What’s New? Now let's welcome the season of autumn. The smell of pumpkin spice, leaves changing colors, autumn rain, hoodies, and new books. Today marks the end of September and the beginning of October. Today is Thursday March 16/2023, a lot has been going on in the last two months; but I have been doing okay. I've been dealing with a bunch new changes in my own personal life. I've been trying to figure out an adoptable time to read and do other things while my work schedule changed. I even need to find time to write. Well, I have  time now.  This is my first Newsletter in the year of 2023, I want to write more Newsletter in the upcoming months. I would like to tell you I will not be doing a Goodreads goal this year, I might do one next year. However, I am still keeping track of what books I read. I am currently reading “Night of the Dragon,” by Julie Kagawa. It is the last book in the “Shadow of the Fox,” Trilogy.
